This is a recently acquired ALTAIR 8800a via eBay.
It is not functional. Visual inspections shows the electrolytic capacitors on the
power supply have leaked. Hopefully the damage power supply was not
propagated to the other circuits within the box.
I expect to repair and have it functional by June 2009. Anyone out there that has
ALTAIR 8800a documentation please let me know. Poking around using just a
probes, meters and oscilloscope can be very frustrating without electric circuit
diagrams and documentation.
