I am amused that my original intent for these web pages are slowly going away, because of technology. I take my iPad everywhere and have downloaded a good percentage of my reference material to it.
My original intent in establishing a home page and having a present was to readily have access to my personal notes that I could use to jog my memory. For, over the years I gather vast amount of technical information in: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and recently the biological sciences such as DNA and genetics.
Perhaps it is a sign of my age and my accumulated information is not readily used. Perhaps it is my desire to remember every detail about the things I have read and care about. Perhaps we have too many tools; computers, personal digital assistants, smart-phones etc. these days reminding us that human mind in general is not a perfect device in recalling anything in great detail without practice of that information. Whatever the case I know I am leaking information like a sieve desperately grasping for whispers of thoughts and memories whenever I need them.
Oddly enough, depending on your point of view, much of what I know pops back into my head creating new and creative ideas. The original and old memories are not accessed directly.
It could be for future purposes, having such direct access to my notes will lower my creativity by narrowing my perspective.
Well, lets see what happens and hopefully you will find my notes useful.
